Our History

As all things that produce; life begins with a seed. The seed of ministry was planted in the hearts of Pastors Eric and Roiann Lightsey while in their youth. Here, the two spent much of their lives very active in the local churches, and often engaged in street witnessing as an activity while dating.
Through time the maturation of this vision would take them down the altar of matrimony in March of 1990. In January of 1993, the couple along with first born daughter, Erica, journeyed to Tulsa, Oklahoma where Eric began seminary studies at Oral Roberts University. During this time of preparation, the couple was blessed to have their second daughter, Rachel. While completing seminary training at Oral Roberts University, Eric committed himself to a 30 day fast where the vision would become clearer. God gave clear spiritual direction to return to Ocala and begin a ministry. The verse of scripture that was given to Eric was derived from John 12:32 where Jesus stated, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me,” hence, the sprouting of what is presently known to be Draw All Men Ministries Church. Upon returning to Ocala in July 1998, Eric and Roiann began ministering in the local community as they were invited. Sensing God stirring the vision in their hearts, they began prayer and bible study in their home. The group of attendees grew and committed themselves to the vision and began a church.

They began meeting at an incomplete building, presently known as the Café on the Rock (a Christian Coffee house) in down town Ocala, to actively share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After holding services at Café on the Rock the church moved to Howard Middle School for a short season before finding a building that would accommodate their present members, located across from Wild Waters. As God continued to add to the church there was still yet another need to move to another location to accommodate more members. Draw All Men Ministries is relocated to 1601 N. E. 25th Ave, Suite 500 Ocala, FL 34470 (Skylark Plaza.)

While at the Skylark Plaza the Lord allowed the congregation to grow and become more diverse, positioning the ministry in a location to better serve the various communities of Ocala/Marion County in which the community had come to know as Draw All Men Ministries’ style. This included a strong outreach campaign to the surrounding communities. Draw All Men Ministries became very active in the support of feeding local families, reaching out to the abused women in the community, establishing and training new leaders to the Body of Christ and proclaiming the Kingdom.

As the church continued to evangelize the community, the identification of a facility that could house the full vision of the ministry was needed. In 2013, the Lord allowed the DAMMC family to purchase the Kingdom building. This 30 thousand square foot, 7-acre property is located on Highway 27 and off of State Road 200.
The ministry has birthed a number of powerful ministries as a result. These ministries include: J.A.M. (Jesus and Me), a dynamic children’s ministry that focuses on pertinent issues for the back to school youth. D.A.T. (Draw All Teens), a church environment for teens. GINOSKO {knowledge), Corporate Empowerment Ministry, D.A.Y. Church (Draw All Youth), a youth –focused church for ages 6 weeks-12 yrs. Instruments of Praise (Praise and Worship Team), Dance Ministry (Youth, Adult and Senior), Hospitality Ministry, Intercessory Prayer Ministry, Ushers and Greeters Ministry, Singles Ministry, Women’s Ministry (Women of Virtue, Men’s Ministry (Men of Standard), Couples Ministry, Audio Visual Ministry, Outreach Ministry (Mobile Ministry—aka M&M), Transportation Ministries, Prison Ministry (Setting the Captives Free), DAMMC Bookstore and “The Next Level” Newsletter.

This has given room for the launching of Preparatory Kingdom Academy - Our Christian School servicing grades 1-12. The vision has also birthed a satellite fellowship of believers in New Tampa entitled, “The New Tampa Bible Study.” This intimate group of young believers has been growing for the past two years.
Draw All Men Ministries is in association with Liberty World Outreach church in Tulsa, OK Pastors Emile and First Lady Lisa Hawkins. Bishop Eric and Lady Elect Roiann have also been officially inducted into the Association of Independent Ministries (AIM) under the leadership of Drs. I.V. and Bridgett Hilliard, of New Light Christian Center Church, Houston, TX. Along with our Praise, Drama and Dance Ministries. The vision continues.
